Next steps

As you’re reading this, we are on a trek to Oceania, which is taking us 3 days! We left Nairobi on the 1st, and won’t land in Sydney, Australia until the 3rd. Months ago when this trip was coming together we had been accepted into a Christian short-term mission program outside of Sydney. We were going to serve for 3+ weeks. Since that time, that door was closed, but we already had plane tickets to the island. So, we changed our ticket for New Zealand for an earlier date, but are headed to stop by Australia for 8 days to check it out!

Rainer and I love surprising each other. So for our time in Australia, I’ve been putting it all together and Rainer doesn’t know anything that we are getting into while there! It’s going to be an adventure! After 8 days, we are headed to the north island of New Zealand via Auckland. We will then head two hours north to a WYAM camp (Youth With A Mission). We have been sent to the camp by MBI (Mission Builders International), a Christian organization that places short-term mission workers at locations all over the world to help with upkeep, daily tasks, manual improvements, and anything else the local facility needs. We are so excited to serve at this WYAM camp for 4+ weeks. Please pray for our travel safety and that God uses us and challenges us during these last two months of traveling, all for His glory!
