Photo post
The students left last week for outreach in India and Thailand so the base is pretty quiet, but there's still lots of things to keep us busy...
This is Sugarbelle's Cafe in town where we've been working.
Inside Sugarbelle's.
We helped the cafe with a catering job. We got to be the lucky ones to carve and serve the ham and beef at the local EMT/Ambulance drivers' Christmas dinner.
Lots of dishes at the cafe.
We've been doing some exterior painting.
We gave all the bushes on base a haircut.
We've been planting plants and pulling weeds... which is difficult in a different country where some of their plants look like our weeds and vice versa.
We've been planning our last few days in New Zealand where we'll get to see more of the country before we go home.
The cows come home down our road everyday.
Last Saturday we had a picnic at the beach
Sad little bird with one leg
We live in cute little house with 3 rooms- the kitchen, the bathroom and the bedroom/living room/dining room/mud room/laundry room.
In our kitchen
We have to sit on the washer during the spin cycles because it tries to walk out of the house.

They even taught the cows to walk in 3 straight lines - so obedient...
