We headed into Vienna for a visit to the old royal palace, a walking tour of the town and into both St. Peter’s and St. Stephen’s churches. We had discussions on the differences between the two of them (very ornate and making God seem ‘unreachable’) and versus our churches at home. That night the students preformed at the campground and had conversations with all kinds of campers, including scouts from Italy. Our last day in Austria, we returned to the center of town for two performances. They both went well, until near the end of the second one, the police shut us down due to music without a permit… but we still connected with so many people!

Vienna
Burrrrr! After sweating all day, every day in Poland… Austria gave us a chilly break. The first night at camp, Curtis took his wife into town to make a plan for the group’s visit, because this was their first trip there. Rainer was asked to share with the group after dinner, and by His perfect timing, God had placed a message on Rainer’s heart earlier that day. He did an amazing job sharing to the students about “How we treat Christ, in our personal relationship with Him”.

Rainer and I in front of the old Austrian royal families' palace
Rainer talking with one of our students, Jacob, before a performance.
A student, Steve, had a long conversation with this gentleman. They moved about 25 yards as they talked, Steve just sticking with him.
Rainer and Curtis talking with the police
After so many tourists made mistaking word associations. "Austria... no kangeroos" (yes, we bought a magnet with that on it)
All the ornamental gold statues inside St. Peter's
