Always 'on'

My husband is wonderful. He is so talented and kind. He takes care of me when I’m sick (crossing the channel, and a day of a migraine in Prague). He surprises me with beautiful flowers in Poland. He is a great leader on the team. Not to mention he is fabulous at his duties as the ‘finance guy’.

My and Rainer’s jobs never stop. We are ‘on’ all the time. We are enjoying every bit of it and are so happy to be serving the Lord. When Rainer isn’t balancing the books, he is following me in the grocery store helping me get 46 of everything and the best item for the price, and figuring out the best deal to the kilogram. While I’m telling each student multiple times where to get a spoon to stir the oatmeal, or how to brown meat, Rainer is getting their signatures for the money he exchanged for them or figuring out the food budget for the next three days in two different countries, and two different currencies.

We go to the grocery store about every 2-3 days.

Rainer and I went looking for the best exchange rate one day. We ended up in this private tiny room behind a heavy door, working with a lady behind bullet proof glass!
