We had a big Sunday. Our team was invovled with the morning service through worship, children's time and Sunday School. Then there was a brillant (British english is rubbing off) potluck lunch, afternoon tea, evening worship service and finally, a gathering to watch the final World Cup game. Rainer and I got to sneak away and go to dinner at a cute Italian restaurant, which was such a treat.
Some of our students here are explaining our mission to the youth group and then teaching them a lesson that they learned at training camp.
The younger kids of the church gathered and our team taught them Bible stories through drama and songs.
The potluck was once again so impressive! We have been so welcomed here and have definitely experienced hospitality from the ladies of this church. We came to be a light and bring joy to this community, but they have also blessed us in so many ways. We see God working each day here with our team.
There are a few members from Zimbabwe, and at the evening service, they performed some traditional singing and dancing.
