Culture & Heritage- London

We went into London today! We had a culture and heritage day in the city. A few of every team member's dollars have been put aside to see Europe and experience the culture and history. The youth group at the local church we have been working with joined us.

We headed out on the tube for the Natural History museum and the Science museum. Both of them were really interesting and had some great exhibits. Rainer and I like museums, at least for an hour or so.

The actual building was the best part for me. It was beautifully designed and detailed.

Where's Rainer? This huge blue whale hung in a gallery, and Rainer is in the background.

This tree is designed from wood and inlayed into the ceiling in one of the display rooms in the history museum

Rainer doing what he does best

A huge piece of a Sequoia tree

.... shows how old the tree was when it died!

Rainer's blue profile

Really neat exhibits with massive computers

Always an adventure to move 50 people through the tube in London
