Verona & Lake Garda
In route to Switzerland, we spent a day and night in Italy. Afterwards, Rainer joined me in my love for Italy and we can’t wait to get back for our vacation break there in a few weeks! We stopped in Verona (home to Romeo and Juliet) so the students could experience a small town, and then headed up to Lake Garda. We arrived by late afternoon, just in time for a brisk(!) swim in the lake.

A few of the guy students bought Italia jackets, all without knowing the others did also...
We all went swimming when we got to Lake Garda... it was chilly!
At a rest stop, since 'Rainer' is an uncommon name in the USA, but it's a German name, for the first time in his life, Rainer came across something (souvenir-like) with his name on it! These were coasters in a gas station. We also found mini cow bells in Switzerland with his name on them too!
